1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by Rome Local Experience. By booking a tour, activity, or transfer through our website or partners, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Bookings & Payments
All bookings must be made through our website or authorized partners. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers. Rome Local Experience does not store or have access to your credit card details.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation policies may vary depending on the experience and are displayed at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise stated:
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour.
No refunds are provided for late cancellations or no-shows.
Tickets or services provided by third parties (such as Colosseum, Vatican, museums, or special events) may be non-refundable.
4. Meeting Times & Late Arrivals
Guests must arrive at the meeting point 10–15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Late arrivals may miss the tour and may not be entitled to a refund. For group tours, the guide may depart with the participants who have arrived in order to respect the schedule.
5. Changes by the Company
Rome Local Experience reserves the right to modify routes, stops, schedules, or itineraries due to traffic conditions, weather, safety considerations, monument closures, or operational requirements.
If a tour must be canceled by us, guests will be offered either:
an alternative date, or
a full refund.
6. Safety & Conduct
Guests must follow the instructions of the guide or driver at all times.
Rome Local Experience reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any guest whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful to other participants. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
7. Liability
While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participation in our tours is at the guest’s own risk.
Rome Local Experience is not responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, delays, accidents, or damage to personal belongings that may occur during the tour, except where required by applicable law.
8. Weather & Force Majeure
Tours generally operate in most weather conditions.
Events beyond our reasonable control — including extreme weather, strikes, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, or monument closures — may result in itinerary changes or cancellations.
9. Third-Party Services
Some services included in our experiences may be operated by third parties (such as official site guides, restaurants, ticket providers, or transfer companies).
Rome Local Experience is not responsible for the independent actions, services, or policies of these third-party providers.
10. Photography
Photos or videos taken during tours may occasionally be used for promotional purposes. Guests who prefer not to appear in promotional material may inform the guide at the start of the tour.
11. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on this website.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Italy.
